Please call us at 415 933 8330 to schedule a consultation. Varicose Veins are typically insurance covered, so please let our staff know about your insurance coverage. Cosmetic issues (Botox, Fraxel, Skin Care, etc) are considered a "no charge" cosmetic consultation.

Normal office hours are from 9AM to 6PM, Monday through Friday. Occasionally, we will hold a Saturday clinic--please ask us about the specific date. You may leave a message with our operator or voicemail and we will contact you in a timely manner.

Varicose Vein Consultation

Varicose Vein consultations are under the umbrella of the insurance health plan and require the standard protocol of a "specialist visit." If you are a member of an HMO, you will need a "Referral or Preauthorization" to see Dr. Lee. The consultation will take 30-45 minutes where a medical history and full examination of the leg will be performed. A Duplex Ultrasound (2 Way Color Ultrasound) of the Veins will also be performed which will usually confirm reflux in the veins. Thereafter, a treatment program will be discussed that will best suit your specific needs.

Cosmetic Consultation

There is a "no charge" policy for a Cosmetic Consultation. The consultation is an important time to meet Dr. Lee to discuss your health issues and to determine if you are a "good candidate" for a procedure or cosmetic option.

Location

The L plastic surgery Vein & Laser Center (in conjunction with the L plastic surgery center) is conveniently located at 2250 Hayes (at Stanyan), Suite 508, in the Medical Professional Building adjacent to St.Mary's Medical Center and Golden Gate Park. It is nestled in the quiet serenity of Golden Gate Park, away from the traffic of downtown, with a convenient parking lot next to the office building at the corner of Hayes and Stanyan.
