Vein Treatment

Microphlebectomy

Micro-Phlebectomy is the surgical removal or disruption of the dilated, ropey veins in the distal leg. Often times, these veins "disappear" after the EVLT treatment, but can persist because of their large size and varicosity. A Micro-Phlebectomy can be done after the EVLT procedure simultaneously, or staged. This is done under local anesthesia in the office.
